North Georgia Amateur Radio Association Culture Declaration
We, the Membership of the North Georgia Amateur Radio Association, desire to secure and embrace the pleasures and benefits of the association. We, who are members of the Association, and are actively and commonly interested in Amateur Radio constitute ourselves, as The North Georgia Amateur Radio Association hereinafter referred to as,"NGARA" or the "Association” and present this statement of Culture, to simply define our goals and purpose.
It will be our purpose to assist members and prospective amateurs in achieving fraternalism and high standards of conduct. To conduct programs and activities in such a manner as to provide our membership the most immersive and complete Amateur Radio experience in the State of Georgia. In addition, we seek to raise money, funds and valuable services for the furtherance of activities of the Association. Further, to conduct educational classes, promote subjects relating to Amateur Radio, and assist those interested in obtaining or upgrading their Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Amateur Radio License. These activities are designed to teach and expand the scope and size of the NGARA family. In addition, the NGARA will provide a forum for research, experimentation, and scientific purpose for all members who have an interest and seek such knowledge.
On a local level,
· Membership with the NGARA Association is one’s sole choice. We encourage all of our members to partake and support the clubs of their choice.
· While we respect and recognize many of the Amateur Clubs in and around Georgia, we seek no harm or competition to their mission.
· Our sole purpose and philosophy is to create goodwill and excitement within the entire Amateur Radio Community, by creating an association of like-minded fellowship.
· We will aspire to breathe excitement and youth into the Amateur Radio passion.
· We seek unity and excellence in all our activities.
· Development and execution of an Area Wide Linked Amateur Repeater Network is a primary goal and achievement of the Association. Premiere connectivity via a reliable linked network is one of our primary goals of support and achievement.
Thank you for stopping by and reviewing our Association Culture Declaration and interest. We hope you have found a common interest in our mission and will seek membership in the near future.
